
ABSTRACT
Xavier Duffaut's exhibition is a series of new drawings in relation with space colonisation, put il parallel with the privatization and sanitization of public space in smart cities.
"I HAD NOTHING LEFT TO DO ON EARTH SO I ACCEPTED THE DEAL. ALAN WANTED TO DO IT FOR A LONG TIME. I BOOKED THE TICKETS. PAID WITH PAYPAL. A CRUISE ONLY FOR MEN. IT WAS ALAN’S DREAM. TWO WEEKS LATER WE WERE TAKING THE SHUTTLE TO THE CLOSEST STATION. WE GOT IN A HUGE STAINLESS STEEL DICK PROPELLED BY A NEUTRINO MOTOR. THE TRIP WOULD LAST A MONTH. ON BOARD, THERE WERE NOTHING BUT HANDSOME, MUSCULAR GUYS, LINED UP IN PAIRS, THEIR SAD FACES PRESSED UP AGAINST THE PORTHOLES. THE INTERIOR OF THE SHIP WAS REALLY COSY. WE COLLECTED OUR PASSES FROM RECEPTION AND RETIRED TO OUR CABINS. THE SUITE OVERLOOKED THE ORBITAL VOID. I WASN'T ABOUT TO SHOW ALAN THAT I WAS IMPRESSED. I KEPT MY COMPOSURE TO SHOW HIM THAT I WAS THE MOST HANDSOME. I LET HIM KISS ME AND PINNED HIM DOWN ON PROPYLENE FLOOR. OUTER SPACE SEX IS A PRODIGIOUS EXPERIENCE. ALAN KEPT SAYING HE WAS HAPPY. MY PULSE WAS GOOD AND I HAD FANTASTIC ERECTIONS. WE WENT TO THE GYM EVERY DAY TO KEEP OUR MUSCLES FROM GETTING ANKYLOTIC. WE TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHECK OUT THE HOT GUYS. ON THE DOWNSIDE, THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. I PREFERRED TO HAVE IT BY DRIP. IN OUR CABINS, WE PLUGGED INTO THE NEURAL NETWORK. ALAN WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE QUALITY OF THE CONNECTION. EVEN IN THE MIDST OF GEOMAGNETIC STORMS. WE WERE EITHER EXAMINING THE VOID THROUGH THE PORTHOLE OR WATCHING INTRAFILMS ON A SPLIT SCREEN. IT WAS HOLIDAYS. AFTER A FEW DAYS, I GOT SICK. SOME OF US WERE LESS ABLE TO BEAR THE CHANGES IN GRAVITATIONAL FIELDS [TO BE CONTINUED...]"
